A professional interior oil base wall finish for use on all interior walls and ceilings including drywall, plaster, masonry, and primed wood. The rich, flat finish reduces the appearance of physical surface imperfections. Ideally suited for textured walls and ceilings. The oil base formula provides stain blocking characteristics on ceilings with minor smoke or water discoloration. Use a stain blocking primer where more severe stain discoloration is present. Ideally suited for commercial work where formal industry quality approvals are required. Approved by the Master Painter's Institute under category # 49.

Surface preparation is important. All surfaces must be smooth, clean, dry, free of mildew, grease, soap film, sanding dust or other contaminants. Remove all loose or peeling material from previously-painted surfaces. Wash all surfaces with a solution of 3 tablespoons of (Phosphate-free) TSP in a gallon of warm water. Rinse thoroughly, allow to dry and then scuff sand using 80-120 grit sandpaper on a hand sander. Remove all sanding dust. Do not apply at temperatures below 10˚C (50˚F).
WARNING! If you scrape, sand or remove old lead paint from any surface you may release lead dust. LEAD IS TOXIC. EXPOSURE TO LEAD DUST CAN CAUSE SERIOUS ILLNESS, SUCH AS BRAIN DAMAGE, ESPECIALLY IN CHILDREN. PREGNANT WOMEN SHOULD ALSO AVOID EXPOSURE. Wear a NIOSH approved respirator to control lead exposure. Carefully clean up with a wet mop or HEPAvacuum. For additional information, Canadian customers contact the Product Safety division of Health Canada at 1-800-O-CANADA, US customers contact the U.S. EPA/Lead Information Hotline at 1-800-424-LEAD (5323).
