A contractor/maintenance, Interior/Exterior, heavy bodied blockfiller designed to fill voids and reduce irregularities on new concrete block and other types of masonry. May be tinted with up to 4 ounces of universal colorant per gallon. This product meets the United States Environmental Protection Agency national volatile organic compound emission standards for architectural coatings. Approved by the Master Painter's Institute under category # 4. Meets the standard for CAN/CGSB - 1.188 - M90. ( Qualification #80147) Environment Canada VOC compliant.

A heavy bodied, interior/ exterior latex undercoat designed to fill voids and smooth irregularities on new concrete block and other masonry surfaces. Helps reduce the porosity and seal masonry surfaces prior to painting. Reduces the penetration of finish coats providing for less paint consumption and an even sheen.

Surface preparation:
Surface preparation is important. All surfaces must be smooth, clean, dry, free of mildew, grease, soap film, sanding dust or other contaminants. Remove all loose or peeling material from previously-painted surfaces. Wash all surfaces with a solution of 3 tablespoons of (Phosphate-free) TSP in a gallon of warm water. Rinse thoroughly, allow to dry and then scuff sand using 80-120 grit sandpaper on a hand sander. Remove all sanding dust. Do not apply at temperatures below 10˚C (50˚F).
WARNING! If you scrape, sand or remove old lead paint from any surface you may release lead dust. LEAD IS TOXIC. EXPOSURE TO LEAD DUST CAN CAUSE SERIOUS ILLNESS, SUCH AS BRAIN DAMAGE, ESPECIALLY IN CHILDREN. PREGNANT WOMEN SHOULD ALSO AVOID EXPOSURE. Wear a NIOSH approved respirator to control lead exposure. Carefully clean up with a wet mop or HEPAvacuum.
