  • Product Description Marketing:

    A non-yellowing Interior Polycarbonate varnish with excellent abrasion and chemical resistance in a low odor, crystal clear finish. Provides excellent adhesion and UV protection to wood and engineered wood surfaces. This product is non-flammable and resistant to hot and cold water, household chemicals and alcohol. It is an environmentally friendly product with soap and water clean-up and has much faster dry times than solvent based products. This product meets the Environment Canada national volatile organic compound emission standards for architectural varnishes.

  • Surface preparation:

    Surface preparation is important. All surfaces must be smooth, clean, dry, free of mildew, grease, soap film, sanding dust or other contaminants. Remove all loose or peeling material from previously-painted surfaces. Wash all surfaces with a solution of 3 tablespoons of (Phosphate-free) TSP in a gallon of warm water. Rinse thoroughly, allow to dry and then scuff sand using 80-120 grit sandpaper on a hand sander. Remove all sanding dust. Do not apply at temperatures below 10˚C (50˚F).
